GENESIS
My father had worked for a long time at Nina Ricci and my mother's wardrobe was made of beautiful things all extremely well maintained neatly arranged, this is where by touching high quality fabrics I liked the clothes.
I naturally began to transform my mother's clothes so that they fit me and that they are not too marked in their time, they were sometimes silk blouses where I remade the cuffs or many others. short leather jackets where I would round off the collar. I wanted to have his class and his confidence, this unshakeable self-confidence, full of qualities which is 12 years old, I was sorely lacking.
Clothing therefore became a tool to make me accept others in a society where appearance was matched only by your ability to buy branded things ... We had to invent another paradigm!

1 / PRESERVING THE ENVIRONMENT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT COMMITMENT!
Atelier Gaëlle Constantini only works on the principle of upcycling which, by definition, is the action of recycling from above. In this case, it is a matter of collecting, buying, recovering "second hand" textiles and transforming them to create new clothes. This process does not require the production of new material and uses the fewest possible resources.
With an experience of 7 years in the field and for practical reasons we have chosen to work with household linen such as sheets, duvet covers, curtains, tablecloths and work clothes, which gives us more possibilities and freedom in cut level.
2/ INSERTION WORKSHOPS AS MEANS OF PRODUCTION
Atelier Gaëlle Constantini is 100% MADE IN FRANCE and we have chosen to work with the French population who needs it most.
In fact, the workshops and integration projects are preponderant in helping each other develop within our regions. Designed for the long-term unemployed, the beneficiaries of RSA, people in social difficulties, financial often excluded from society, insertion workshops are a way to create the link between young creation and people in great difficulty.
We entrust our production to them and we give them confidence in their skills.
Indeed, we accompany them either in the learning of a new profession, the sewing, or we put them in competence with the help of head of workshop and qualified accompanists.
Today we produce our clothes in collaboration with 3 of them, Femmes Actives in Saint Denis, Emmaus at Maison Alfort and Concept Insertion in Calais with whom we have developed real emotional and lasting ties.
Our ultimate goal is to locate the production in insertion in each region in which the collection is distributed, to transmit our know-how, the sewing, as heritage to transmit and also to promote this means of creating clothes near the young French creation to offset the relocation to Europe or Asia of their textile production.
3/ ECO-DESIGN AS A STANDARD FOR A BETTER WORLD
The Atelier Gaëlle Constantini decided to put simplicity and elegance at the heart of its creation, with the utopian and idealistic aim of reducing judgment and returning exchanges to the center.
That's why we worked on two permanent collections that will be expanded with 4 or 5 strong pieces each season.
The fact being that the more we change the style of dress as we propose Fast Fashion today, the more we gradually lose our identity.
FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT IN FASHION
All the parts are imagined starting from a geometrical form and tightened in certain places for:
- highlight certain forms
- allow the adaptability of size 36 to size 42.
The different events in our lives often change our weight by several kilos. With its adaptability your garment Gaëlle Constantini is committed to living by your side as long as possible, accompanying you in your morphology changes, weight loss, pregnancy, taking peas ... it is in this sense that our pieces are durable!
4/ CIRCULAR ECONOMY
Do not you wear your Gaëlle Constantini clothes anymore?
Several solutions are available to you, you can:
- offer it to someone you love!
- donate it to an association, Emmaus, Secours Populaire ..
- sort it and put it in a bin the sorting fiber, the relay etc ...

5/ WE COLLECT !
The sheets, curtains, tablecloths that you do not use anymore, we are looking for black grey beige for winter!
Also we made in positif test with wool blanket to produce coats and it work ! So if you have old ones we will interested :)
